We're (Finally) Done Registering

Hey everyone,

Thanks for bearing with me while I finished covering the Lakers. Now that the season is over and the victory parade is finished, things have settled down a bit and I finally had time to hit the malls and get busy with the wedding registration, with my mom providing wisdom of the ages: Like answers to, ``What exactly is a whisk for?''

I've registered at three fine establishments: Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond (BB&B), and the Shalom House at 19740 on Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills.

You can go to all the stores in person or online. I trust all of you are good enough with google to find out just where those websites are located. But for those of you not so googlickly-inclined, here's some linkage:

For the Shalom House you can call ( 818-704-7100) or go into the store to find out what I'm registered for and order. If you wish you can view the gifts online by clicking HERE but I do not think you can order online. Bummer.

I'm told there are some good bargains to be had at these stores if you pay attention to sales and coupons, either online or in your local newspaper, which hopefully you still take :)

Bed/Bath/Beyond generally sends out 20 percent coupons in the mail, or you can call and request them.

Macy's is always advertising everywhere, but has been sending me coupon codes for added discounts which I'll try and post when they arrive in my inbox. The current one seems to be: HOTHOME

Hotel Info For The Wedding

For our out-of-town guests who will be attending the wedding, you can get a special hotel rate at the Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley. You can get a rate of $80/night if you call the hotel and ask for the Shelburne-Barich wedding. But you have to call before July 27!! You can call the hotel at 800-455-SIMI or 805-583-2000.
